The extra long and strong Mustad Big Gun Siwash Hook is an excellent choice as replacements hook for Striped Bass plugs, heavy trolling spoons and hardlures but also as a fast and easy attachment trailer hook. The 2X extra strong hook features a slightly kirbed hook point for improved hookup and an open eye for easy hook change, without the use of a split ring. Closing the open eye is done with a pair of pliers. Coated with Mustad´s own Black Nickel finish, which are 4 times as rust resistant as traditional Black Nickel. Chemically sharpened high carbon steel.
